KMS hairstylist Johnnie Sapong was lead stylist for the Oliver Spencer SS18 collection at London Fashion Week this year.
 
Oliver Spencer’s Love Town collection was a homage to London: men on the runway, an array of ages and ethnicities, reflected the diversity of the city.
 
The clothes reflected the craft of premium tailoring interpreted to a relaxed modern style: loose fitting jackets with zippers, linen trousers and shorts, in honest, but never boring, colors. It was a perfect mixture for men who want to be fashionable without being overdressed. 

This collection inspired Sapong to create very undone hairstyles with a raw feel. Windswept hairstyles, slicked, but with lift, definition and texture, complemented Spencer’s collection perfectly.
 
Sapong’s Fashion Week Style Equation for Oliver Spencer:
 
START with ADDVOLUME Shampoo (tip: skip a conditioner as the hair needs to have more grip). Dry your hair with your fingers until it’s about 80% dry.
 
STYLE Spray HAIRPLAY Sea Salt Spray and finish drying with your hairdryer, working the product in with your fingers while sweeping it away from your face.
 
FINISH Once all moisture is removed, spray HAIRSTAY Working Hairspray to your hairline and work in, to add lift to the front. Continue to spray, moving from the hairline toward the back of the head to set the style.
