KMS revolutionized the haircare industry with advances in technology and innovative
combinations of natural ingredients.

NEFA (Natural Essential Fatty Acids) shampoo was one of the first KMS products. NEFA
included oil- based moisture for dry and chemically dry, thick and coarse hair.

The entire KMS assortment featured the molecule logo which reflected the connection
to the technology behind the products.

KMS introduced one of the first heat styling products on the market: Control.
Today, THERMASHAPE products are the go-to KMS heat styling products.

Trilogy, developed as one of the first leave-ins, expanded the leave-in category offering for clients. This conditioner provided detangling and moisture and became a very successful KMS product.

KMS introduced Strategy Reconstuctor, a nutrient-rich reconstructive treatment that
added pliability and shine to brittle, splitting hair.

FLATOUT became the first professional non-chemical relaxer. It evolved to today’s
THERMASHAPE Straightening Creme, which provides easy straightening and smoothing with heat protection.

KMS introduced HAIRPLAY Molding Paste as a breakthrough product. Today, it’s loved
by stylists around the world, who continue to discover new ways to work with it every day.

Taking a new subline approach to segment the line by client need, KMS launched FLATOUT and CURLUP.   

The successful sublines were introduced for all products. Sublines in combination
with colors made it easy for customers to self-select.

HAIRPLAY Sea Salt Spray was of the first of its kind on the market – developed on the
forefront of the beach waves texture trend and made with salt from the Dead Sea. MOISTREPAIR Revival Creme is a light, easy-to-apply moisturizer, which remains a best seller around the world.

New IOPS (Inside Out Perfecting System) Technology reconstructed the hair from the
inside out by increasing the hairs’ strength and pliability.

HAIRPLAY Makeover Spray was one of the first modern dry shampoos. It was launched as an upgrade to old-fashioned dry shampoos, combining volumizing and mattifying styling with dry cleansing. HAIRPLAY Dry Wax was developed to create a mattifying trend in hair styling and has been a best seller since its launch.

KMS introduced a new look and an obsession with style. FREESHAPE was launched – a
new subline specifically developed for heat styles that last until the next wash. Today, THERMASHAPE is an evolution of the heat-styling subline.

The TAMEFRIZZ line features the De-Frizz System, which changes the internal hair
structure and smoothens the surface of the hair. The result is up to 3 days frizz and humidity resistance and up to 100 % frizz reduction.

KMS launched two new multi-use innovators: HAIRPLAY Playable Texture features
Workable Rebonding Technology for buildable, reworkable texture without stickiness. THERMASHAPE 2-in-1 Spray is a time-saving spray for dry hair – before and after hot tool use – to shape and finish the style. 

Leading the natural hair trend, KMS introduced CURLUP Perfecting Lotion to the market. An innovation for curly clients. It features Pressure-Activated Technology that
brings curls back to life when scrunched.
